Testing procedures – metallography

Our quality assurance department undertakes several dimensional tests during production, which are determined in scope by the requirements of the client or by the appropriate standards. If required, there are undertaken mechanical-technological tests, for instance tension tests on trial bars or on finished products.

A further investigation object is the determination of prestressing forces in dependance on the used tightening torque, the investigation of hardness values, impact tests and metallographic tests of microstructure of high tensile bolts.

The requirements for being an approved supplier of high tensile bolt sets, including the extraordinary dimensions M24 - M72 as well as the requirements of AD2000W0 and the classification as Quality-One supplier of DB AG are supervised by external authorities every year.
